Get Involved — Volunteer!
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is always needed and appreciated.
If you would like to volunteer at events during school hours and interact with students, then obtaining volunteer clearance is mandatory. You can find the clearance details AT THIS LINK on the OPA-MS website.
Once you are a cleared volunteer, you can be involved in planning and organizing various school events. Please look out for sign up opportunities via school communications on ParentSquare, and our social media channels @opamshonoursociety on Instagram and OPA MS Honour Society on Facebook, or contact us.
Homeroom Liaisons Needed!
If you are interested in volunteering at home, you can become a Homeroom Liaison (Room Parent). This is a small volunteer role to help communicate teacher needs to the Homeroom families and support The Honour Society (PTO). You DO NOT need to obtain volunteer clearance (unless you start working on campus with students).
